Crafted from original Halloumi cheese, our Cheese Fries are designed to provide a perfect balance of textures and flavours. Halloumi cheese is a semi-hard cheese  known for its high melting point, making it ideal for grilling or frying. 

With multiple cooking methods, these cheese fries are extremely quick and easy to prepare. Whether you prefer grilled Halloumi fries on the barbecue or pan fried Halloumi, these cheese fries become wonderfully crisp, while the center remains silky smooth. These cheese fries make the perfect appetizer or side-dish. For those who love cheese fries, our Halloumi cheese can be the star ingredient in your cheese fries recipes.

Cooking Methods

Pan
Pan Fry – In a non-stick skillet set to medium-high heat, add 1 tbsp of Canola oil and heat until it shimmers. Cook on all sides for roughly 20 seconds per side, until it starts to blister.
Deep Fryer
Deep Fry – Set Canola oil to 185oC. Then (using tongs) carefully drop the Cheese Fries in the hot oil. Cook while agitating slightly, to keep them separated, for about 45 seconds. Once done, remove the Cheese Fries and the excess oil.
BBQ
BBQ – Set temperature to 200oC, spray with pam and add the Cheese Fries (using tongs). Rotate them about 20 seconds per side until they start to blister.

  • 200 ml Mayonnaise
  • 50 ml Chipotle peppers, in sauce
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 15 ml Lemon juice
  • 25 ml Honey
Spicy Yogurt Sauce

Spicy Yogurt Sauce

  • 100 ml Greek yogurt
  • 100 ml Sour cream
  • 25 ml Chopped dill
  • 10 ml Smoked paprika
  • 25 ml Hot sauce
  • 15 ml Lemon juice
  • Pinch Salt
