Sweet Tooth Grilled Cheese

Sliced Provolone Cheese
Provolone cheese has a soft, creamy and stretchy texture and its flavour becomes stronger and tangier with age. Delicious as a snacking cheese, it is also perfect to eat at the end of a meal or served in appetizers, main dishes or on a cheese platter. Pre-sliced for your convenience.
Ingredients
- 2 slices raisin/walnut bread
- 4 slices Saputo Provolone cheese
- 2 tsp (10 mL) maple butter
- 4 slices fine pears
- 1 kale leaf
- 2 slices cooked maple bacon (cut in half)
Directions
- Spread the maple butter on the slices of bread. In the following order, add 2 slices of Saputo Provolone cheese, 2 slices of pear, 2 slices of maple bacon, 1 kale leaf and once again, add 2 slices of pear and 2 slices of Saputo Provolone cheese. Top with the second slice of bread.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Preheat a large non-stick pan over medium-low heat. Cook the grilled cheese on each side for 3 to 4 minutes and transfer to oven for 5 minutes to finish melting the cheese. Serve.
