Ricotta and Spiced Honey Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients

  • 360 mL (1½ cups) Saputo Ricotta di Campagna
  • 1 peeled banana, sliced widthwise
  • 1 blood orange 
  • Seeds of 1 passion fruit
  • A few pomegranate seeds
  • 80 mL (1/3 cup) honey
  • 5 mL (1 tsp) fresh nutmeg, grated
  • 10 mL (2 tsp) ground cinnamon
  • 2 mL (1/2 tsp) ground cardamom
  • 250 mL (1 cup) homemade or store-bought granola

Directions

  1. Warm the honey in a small saucepan on low heat. Add the nutmeg, cinnamon and cardamom. Mix thoroughly. Remove from heat and let cool. Set aside.
  2. Fill the breakfast bowls. Start with a layer of Ricotta, then add the fruit, passion fruit seeds and pomegranate seeds. Top with a generous handful of granola. Drizzle with the spiced honey.
