Ingredients
- 1 jar meat sauce (Bolognese), homemade or store-bought
- 9 large oven-ready lasagna noodles
- 2 large eggs
- A few fresh basil leaves, chopped
- Salt and pepper
- 2 cups Saputo Mozzarellissima cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup Saputo Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, grated
- 400 gSaputo Ricotta di Campagna
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a large baking dish, pour half of the jar of meat sauce.
- Layer with 6 large oven-ready lasagna noodles.
- In a separate bowl, combine the container of Ricotta di Campagna cheese, the two eggs, the grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, and mix well.
- Add the chopped basil leaves, salt and pepper, then mix again.
- Spread half of the Ricotta mixture over the pasta in the baking dish.
- Add a handful of grated Mozzarellissima cheese, 3 more lasagna noodles, then the other half of the jar of sauce. Repeat this sequence once more with all of the ingredients.
- Generously top with more Mozzarellissima cheese, and bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until cheese on top is golden and bubbling.
- Serve and enjoy!
