Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large baking dish, pour half of the jar of meat sauce.
  3. Layer with 6 large oven-ready lasagna noodles.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the container of Ricotta di Campagna cheese, the two eggs, the grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, and mix well.
  5. Add the chopped basil leaves, salt and pepper, then mix again.
  6. Spread half of the Ricotta mixture over the pasta in the baking dish.
  7. Add a handful of grated Mozzarellissima cheese, 3 more lasagna noodles, then the other half of the jar of sauce. Repeat this sequence once more with all of the ingredients.
  8. Generously top with more Mozzarellissima cheese, and bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until cheese on top is golden and bubbling. 
  9. Serve and enjoy!
