Revolutionize Your Nachos

Revolutionize Your Nachos

They’re everyone’s go-to snack to share—nachos are the life of the party, they bring people together. They’re quick and easy to make at home. All you need are corn chips and cheese. The rest is up to what you feel like in the moment or what you’ve got left in your fridge and cupboards. So now we’re here to inspire you with more than a few ways to revamp your nachos.

Switch up your cheese

As the star ingredient of your nachos, we know that the melty and perfectly browned cheese is what people are actually after. Taco Nacho Shredded Cheese is perfect for classic-style nachos. Looking for a change? Switch it up and let your heart melt for a buttery Sliced Havarti, a gooey Mozzarellissima, or a Triple Cheddar Shredded Cheese for a mild, medium and old Cheddar combo.

Lean into new sauces

Sour cream is no stranger to nachos, and it’s a neutral base that’s fun to flavour. You can add a few dollops of Sriracha sauce or something like it for a bit of kick, or fresh herbs like coriander, basil and parsley. A pinch of onion powder, garlic powder or steak seasoning can take your nachos to the fourth dimension of flavour. For Greek-style nachos, just add tzatziki! There are always the traditional options as well: guacamole, red, green, or mango salsa…the possibilities are endless.

Get creative with meat

When things get meaty, nachos level up to a full-on meal. Trade in shredded beef for more elevated carnivorous fare like pulled pork, bacon, duck confit or any kind of European sausage. Want spicy? Go chorizo!

Add an international twist

Now’s the time to go out on a culinary limb and get just a little gourmet. Anything goes when it comes to whisking your guests away with travel-inspired nachos. Think butter chicken for Indian nachos or bulgogi beef and kimchi for Korean nachos. Whip up Greek nachos with Feta cheese, olives, onions and diced tomatoes. You can also say aloha to some Hawaiian nachos with ham and pineapple, or do it up poke-style.

Go back to the basics

Why not revisit the classics? You can combine two of life’s greatest pleasures with mouth-watering poutine nachos, refreshing tartare-style nachos or comforting mac and cheese nachos, breakfast nachos or even dessert nachos. Sky’s the limit!
