Lacy Parmesan Rosemary Crisps

Shredded Parmesan
Pasta's favourite cheese. Our classic, Canadian made parmesan cheese is conveniently shredded for easy use in your recipes.
Ingredients
- 90 g (3 oz) Saputo Parmesan cheese, well chilled
- 5 ml (1 tsp) fresh rosemary, chopped
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C / 350°F.
- Grate the cheese while it is cold.
- Drop 6 small handfuls of cheese onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. With your fingers, gently spread the cheese out to form 6 circles. Refrigerate the rest of the grated cheese.
- Sprinkle the cheese circles with rosemary and bake in the middle of the oven until browned, about 8 to 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven and transfer carefully to paper towels.
- Repeat with remaining cheese.
Tip: In this recipe, the cheese stands on its own, pure and simple. Serve the crisps with salads, soup or as a last-minute garnish for a risotto or stew.
