Dessert Cheese Board

Bella Lodi
Imported from Italy, this exquisite hard ripened cheese is aged for a minimum of 16 months. It is uniquely textured and full-flavoured with a nutty, creamy taste and crumbly texture.
Ingredients
For the main board
- 1-2 containers (170g-340g) of Woolwich Cranberry and Port topped Goat Cheese
- 1 package of Saputo Bella Lodi
- 1 package (180g) of Woolwich Triple Crème Goat Brie
- Biscotti and a variety of cookies
- Chocolate covered nuts and pretzels
- Clementines
- Crackers
- Dried Fruit
- Grapes
- A variety of nuts
- Pears, sliced
For the goat cheese & honey puffs
- 1 package (170g) of Woolwich Dairy Cranberry and Port topped Goat Cheese
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 15 mL (1 tbsp) of honey
- 2 sprigs of fresh thyme
- Egg wash
Directions
For the main board
- Start by placing the main cheese, the Woolwich Cranberry and Port topped Goat Chees.
- Then place the other cheeses : the Saputo Bella Lodi and the Woolwich Triple Crème Goat Brie.
- Start to stack on the extras.
For the goat cheese & honey puffs
- Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
- Using a 2-inch biscuit cutter or any sharp round object, cut 10-12 rounds out of your puff pastry.
- Place the rounds on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
- Using a fork, prick holes all over rounds.
- Brush the rounds with egg wash and bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until rounds are golden.
- Remove from oven and let cool.
- When ready to serve, top with 5-10mL (1-2 tsp) Woolwich Dairy Cranberry and Port topped Goat Cheese.
- Drizzle honey on top and sprinkle with fresh thyme.
- Serve with the main board and enjoy!
