Sweet Tooth Grilled Cheese


2 slices raisin/walnut bread

4 slices Saputo Provolone cheese

2 tsp (10 mL) maple butter

4 slices fine pears

1 kale leaf

2 slices cooked maple bacon (cut in half)


Spread the maple butter on the slices of bread. In the following order, add 2 slices of Saputo Provolone cheese, 2 slices of pear, 2 slices of maple bacon, 1 kale leaf and once again, add 2 slices of pear and 2 slices of Saputo Provolone cheese. Top with the second slice of bread.

Preheat the oven to  350°F.

Preheat a large non-stick pan over medium-low heat.  Cook the grilled cheese on each side for 3 to 4 minutes and transfer to oven for 5 minutes to finish melting the cheese. Serve.
