The Grana Padano name refers to the crumbly texture of this cheese, more commonly known as Parmesan. It comes from the Emilia-Romagna region in Italy. Grana Padano is made from non-pasteurised cow's milk, and it has to age for at least 12 months before going to market. Milder in taste, it offers cheese lovers a more subtle flavour.
